Sheila M. Frame

Sheila is a biopharmaceuticals executive with more than 25 years of global leadership experience in commercial, market access, and government affairs across large and small organizations, with therapeutic expertise in immuno-oncology, immunology, CNS, rare, and ultra rare diseases. Sheila has extensive product launch and M&A experience through multinational leadership roles at several large pharmaceutical organizations. 

Recently, Sheila served as President of the Americas for Amryt Pharmaceuticals, leading business operations for Canada, USA, and LATAM (Columbia, Brazil, and Argentina) for 4 products in rare and ultra rare diseases. Sheila was a key member of the leadership team responsible for the acquisition of Amryt to Chiesi Group in the first half of 2023. Prior to Amryt, Sheila held several leadership positions at Novartis, serving as the global commercial lung cancer lead, as well as leading the commercial organization overall, and the biosimilars organization within Sandoz. Within these roles, Sheila was responsible for marketing, market access, patient services, and pricing and contracting for Sandoz.

Prior to Novartis, Sheila served in worldwide leadership roles at Bristol-Myers Squib (BMS) within immunoscience, oncology, and immunology, including global leadership of Orencia®, Opdivo®, and Yervoy®.

Previously, Sheila held commercial and general management positions in the Nordics, US, and Canada for UCB, Inc., and US/Canadian leadership positions in commercial operations, marketing, and public affairs at AstraZeneca.

Sheila serves on the boards of TerSera Therapeutics and BGB Group. She previously served on the boards of Theratechnologies, the Rare Disease Company Coalition, the Biosimilar Forum, and the University of Ottawa, Board of Governors. She is also a mentor with the Canadian Government’s Biotech Accelerator Initiative in Boston.

Sheila earned a BA in economics from York University in Toronto and an MBA from Concordia University in Montreal.
