Nancy Martin is Executive Vice President, Chief Medical Officer of TerSera Therapeutics.
Nancy has more than 25 years of experience across multiple therapeutic areas, having led development and medical organizations in large pharma, biotech, and diversified medical portfolio companies. Prior to TerSera, Nancy served as Vice President, Global Medical Head, and Medical Specialties at Astellas.
Prior to Astellas, Nancy was Vice President of Preclinical and Clinical Development at Baxter Healthcare Corporation. Nancy also served as Chief Medical Officer at Outpost Medicine, a Frazier Portfolio Company. Earlier in her career, she served as Vice President, Global Clinical Development at Hospira, a Pfizer Company.
Nancy began her pharmaceutical career at Hoffmann-La Roche in clinical pharmacology and held multiple positions of increasing responsibility in development and medical affairs at Roche, Aventis, and Astellas.
Nancy earned her PharmD from the University of Illinois-College of Pharmacy and her MD from the UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She is licensed to practice pharmacy and medicine in multiple jurisdictions.
