Edward Donovan
Chief Executive Officer
Edward Donovan is Chief Executive Officer of TerSera Therapeutics.
Edward has extensive experience leading critical business units across multiple biopharmaceutical organizations. Prior to assuming his current role, he previously served as Chief Operating Officer and President of TerSera. Edward also previously served as TerSera’s Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary and held similar positions at Crealta Pharmaceuticals and Actient Pharmaceuticals.
Prior to Crealta and Actient, Edward was a partner in the Chicago office of the law firm Kirkland & Ellis LLP. At Kirkland, he specialized in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and corporate law, and completed numerous pharmaceutical and other healthcare-related transactions. He started his career as a commissioned officer in the US Army.
Edward currently serves as President of the Board of Code Platoon, a nonprofit that transforms veterans and military spouses into professional software developers.
Edward holds a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois.
